A old man I once knew, an avid hunter, passed these words of wisdom on to me: Hunting is half about discovering your prey, and half about keeping prey from discovering you first. I don’t think he had the design of my hunting knife in mind, but there are some wily animals out there in the wild, and hunters can never be too careful about their gear. After all, when you have a camouflaged gunstock, camouflaged coveralls, even camouflaged socks, why not get yourself a camo knife that matches?
But this Omni Hunter knife is more than just a knife to match your hunting gear. The 4-inch drop point, plain edge blade is made with 420 HC stainless steel and satin finished. A good-sized gut hook is located on the spine. The thumb stud allows for one-handed opening.
The ergonomic handle is contoured with a finger groove for the index finger, while grip ridges built into the bottom portion provide an extra secure grip. This is a folding mid-lockback design, and the handle, when blade is closed, measures 5 inches in length. The handle is a thermoplastic in a Realtree Hardwoods green camo style with a dynaflex rubber over-mold. A matching nylon cloth sheath is included.
The Omni Hunter has an overall weight of 4.6 ounces. This knife comes with Buck’s 4-ever Lifetime Warranty, as long as you fill out the included warranty card.
