Here’s a 13-slot knife tray that’s specifically made to fit common sizes for both knives and drawers. It measures 17 x 9 x 2 inches, safe for standard-size drawers. And it can hold 12 different knives, as well as a sharpening steel rod.
It’s actually got two different levels, barely noticeable and very convenient. The bottom slots are meant to hold your bigger, thicker kitchen knives, and the top half has six slots to hold your special steak knives.
