Ex-military man Jeff Freeman led the way in designing this knife to be the ultimate military-application survival knife.
Want to cut through the skin of a fuselage, slice through a seat belt, or smash through the plexiglass of a helicopter? The LMF II ASEK will do the trick.
The blade is made of Sandvik 12 C 27 steel, a good quality high-carbon stainless steel that is hardened to 58 on the Rockwell C scale. It measures approximately 4 inches in length and is 3/16″ thick.
The blade is blackened to reduce reflection, and features a combo-edge with serrations halfway down the blade.
The handle is textured for a good grip but also designed to reduce blisters. The butt cap can be lashed to the end of a spear.
Included is a sharpener and sheath.
