This is an official replica sword from the Ninja Gaiden video game series, wielded by the hero Ryu Hayabusa. In the game he is known as a “modern day Super Ninja.” Ryu is a direct descendant of the Dragon Lineage, referring to the ancient ninja warriors who forged this same Dragon Ninja Sword.

The handle is nearly a foot long, and is wrapped with red nylon cord in traditional katana stylings identical to the sword in the game. The handle’s gold-colored guard is elaborately detailed with wisps of dragon flame, and the pommel is made from the same gold metal to complement the design.
Ryu’s sword comes with a scabbard as well as a nylon back strap just like the one in the game. The scabbard is coated in black and features the same gold-colored metal on the cap, ring, and throat.
