Headed to the jungle? Take this knife.
Why? Because SOG makes great knives and this is one of their excellent bushcraft offerings. It’s also not that expensive so you can try it out without too much of an investment.
It features a nine-and-a-half inch blade available in a black, reflective-resistant or satin finish. That blade is made of 420 stainless steel. That’s not a premium steel by any means, but that helps keep the price down and this knife is plenty sharp out of the box.
It features a serrated edge on one side and a plain edge on the other.
The handle is contoured non-slip Kraton for a sure grip in any weather conditions. You’re going to the jungle, right? You’re going to need that.
A nylon sheath is included as well.
