The Winder Sogwinder I from SOG Knives features a drop point Bowie blade that is exceptionally thick for a folding knife. This ensures that you don’t have to worry about strength and durability. But if you’re looking for the lightest folding knife on the market, this is not the right one for you.
The 6.5 inch blade is made of 440A stainless steel. This is not the highest-end steel, but is acceptable for most uses. It’s hardened to a Rockwell hardness of 56-57, which means that it can be made quite sharp.
