Sometimes, Victorinox’s names make a lot of sense. Take this Midnite Minichamp, for example. It’s a scaled-down version of the Champion knife, both in terms of number of features and in size. Hence the term “Minichamp”. Why “Midnite?” Well, it’s got an LED light on it, so I guess you can use it at midnight. Clever, huh?
As far as features go, it’s got two blades and two screwdrivers — one of them magnetic. It also features a ruler, orange peeler, scraper, bottle opener, wire stripper, pen and the aforementioned LED light. It’s also got no fewer than three tools for working on your fingernails: a file, a cleaner and a cuticle pusher.
So I guess if you’re the type who likes to work on your nails around the campfire after midnight, this is a dream knife for you! Others who might be tempted by this one: backpackers looking to minimize bulk and weight.
It measures 2.25 inches long, significantly less than the standard Swiss Army Knife size.
