This Swiss Army Rambler is grouped under Victorinox’s line of small, elegant pocket-tools. At only 2 1/4-inch long, the classic red handle will fit comfortably out of the way in a pants pocket or, with the key chain attachment, on a key ring – whatever allows you to keep it close at hand.
Because the Rambler has a well-matched set of tools, it will often come in handy. There is a small drop point, plain edge, stainless steel blade – good for reasonable-sized tasks of cutting, slicing, and carving. The stainless steel scissors are spring-assisted for easy use. The stainless steel nail file implement doubles as a flathead screwdriver tip. The bottle cap lifter multi-tasks as a wire stripper and magnetic Phillips-head screwdriver tip. A standard Swiss Army toothpick and tweezers are also in the design.
There’s really not much else to say about the Rambler. Victorinox makes great knives and this is just one variation of their available pocket tools. If this isn’t the right combination for you, check out our other Victorinox reviews to find just the right tools that you need. As always with Victorinox, the Rambler comes with a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects.
